  1. Flooded Village
    What disaster has caused this?
The disaster that caused this is a flood.

    Explain what the disaster is.
A flood is a lot of water grouped together and it washes things away caught in it.

Explain how this disaster may have been caused. This disaster may have been caused by the lots and lots of rain that has been fallen really fast and have grouped together and starts to wash things away. Another cause is that a damn burst or a river overflowed.

Describe the devastation that has been caused. The road has been wash away, it is all ragged, houses have been swept away, people’s lives may have been lost.
Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel.
People in the area would be absolutely devastated because their homes have been demolished and swept away by the flood. People have been cut off from the town because the flood destroyed the road. They would be crushed that people living near them have lost their lives by this devastating flood.

  2. Maybe an earthquake has caused the flood if not heaps much rain. A flood is something that can cover a whole city or most of it. It probably has been an earthquake or something.
A flood can make a lot of destruction and blizzard’s witch is not good for the people who live close to water. If I was there I would be trying to escape it and run to safety and get help from a very helpful emergency service. I think if someone else was scared they would probably die from panicking or panic attack.

  3. Disasters

What disaster has caused this? Explain what the disaster is?
Maybe the disaster has been caused by a huge storm or a tsunami. A tsunami is a big wave that is caused by an earthquake under water. A storm is where there are lots of rain thunder, lighting and sometimes hail. If you’re wondering what hail is it is ice that falls out of the sky?
Explain how this disaster may have been caused.
A tsunami is caused by an earthquake underwater. A storm is caused because of weather so it naturally made.
Describe the devastation that has been caused.
The devastation that the disaster has caused is people losing their home. People losing family members. People getting ill or diseases by the water. The disaster has also caused the devastation of people having to pay thousands of money to reaper the road and the city. The devastation has also caused the devastation is people would have to re-start their crops are build their houses again.

I cry after I found out my family had died in this disaster. I have no one to comfort me when I’m down. There is nowhere for me to stay. I have to start my corps again and get new animals so I can fix up my farm.

  4. – What disaster has caused this? Explain what the disaster is.
In my opinion this is a devastating flood caused by high tides from the ocean or a nearby lake that had too much rain. A flood is where a water source has over flowed by rain or high tides for rivers or the ocean.
    – Explain how this disaster may have been caused.
This disaster is caused by over flowing or high tides in rivers. I infer this because if the water over flows by rain or something else the water auto mantically rises.
    – Describe the devastation that has been caused.
The devastation caused people to be killed seriously hurt and more people lost their homes and equipment to prepare for the devastation caused by the flood.
    – Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel.
I start waking up people are screaming for help I start gathering my special things that means too much to me. I wished that I could take everything but I couldn’t I was worried I might lose everything. The staff came barging in the door saying common we have to go to the top of the building to wait for help so we gather everyone else to get to safety we all get to the top of the room, there was to many of us to fill the boat. They called for help next thing we know an plane came to rescue us.

  5. I am picking the first photo because it’s a really interesting photo.

-What disaster has caused this? Explain what the disaster is.
I think a flood has caused this because you can see all the water floating around buildings and all of the roads. I think the disaster is something that can be very dangerous like most disasters, but it can be very terrible when it comes out of know where which gives quite a shock to some people.

-Explain how this disaster may have been caused.
This disaster could have been caused by rain, lightning and thunder, and many other disasters could have gone into the floods as well. If there is a thunder storm or any type of storm, that’s how floods can start because of the rain that maybe be with the storm.

    – Describe the devastation that has been caused.
The devastations that could have been caused could have been road damage, people could have been swept away. Also houses could have been flooded and homes could have been lost in all of the water.

    – Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel.
I think they would feel very annoyed and angry that they have lost their own house in floods or other disasters that could have dragged away people or their houses. People would feel very sad or terrified for them to have their house floating away in the floods/water. How would people be able to breathe when they are stuck in their house or stuck in the water from floods that may have happened? Where are the most popular places where a flood is mostly held in?

  6. I am choosing the fourth picture because I think that I can get more explanations about that one picture.
-What disaster has caused this? Explain what the disaster is.
I think that the disaster that caused this is a flood because in the picture the whole city is full of filthy, disgusting water that is brown and looks a bit like sewage water. I also think that the disaster was caused by a tsunami because a flood can be caused if a tsunami hits land. When a tsunami hits land it makes a flood when it leaves water behind when it is going to a different place or it just goes down in that one place.

-Explain how the disaster may have been caused.
I think that the disaster was caused by an earthquake because if it is a tsunami flood then it could be caused by an earthquake. It could have been caused by an earthquake because some tsunamis can be caused by an earthquake or it can be caused by tectonic plates under the water, by the tectonic plate pushing air and power into the water making a huge wave while gathering other small waves to build up that one wave. If the disaster is a flood it might have been caused naturally or it has been raining too much and it ended up causing a flood that has damaged homes of people.

-Describe the devastation that has been caused.
I think that the devastations that have been caused are leaving people homeless, destroying people’s homes, people have been swept away. Sometimes people still end up living if they grab hold of something but sometimes if you know how to swim then you could be able to make it out of the flood out alive. If you can swim some people are found dead and some are found missing.

    – Explain how this disaster may have been caused: tsunamis are caused by an earthquake on the bottom of the ocean which makes huge, powerful waves of water that gather all debris in its path. Tsunamis can cause billions of dollars in damage and can cause hundreds of deaths.
    – Describe the devastation that has been caused: I think that by looking at this picture some form of terrible tsunami has hit a town and ripped up roads, torn through buildings and shredded up the ground.
    – Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel: The people would feel sad, lonely and trapped by the devastating tsunami. They would feel very unsafe and worried because they wouldn’t have any contact with family and friends.

    – Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel. They would melancholy that there building or kids have been missing or may have been killed by the horrible and terrible flood. The city or town people would feel sow devastated that ever think in their homes destroyed and all their stuff in there home wet or broken by the flood and it would tack along time for it to be cleaned up or re build the city or town.

  9. What disaster has caused this? Explain what the disaster is.
    Landslide:
I think this has been caused by a flood and earthquake.
Describe the devastation that has been caused some of the road has been washed away.
Complete a short descriptive piece of writing explaining how the people living in these areas would feel.
They would feel terrified and the people who drive that way might have kids in the car and the kids might cry when they go past.

  10. The last disaster I picked to do for this.
The disaster that caused this would be a flood. A flood is when there is lots of water is above the surface that the water is higher than knee level. A flood is caused by mostly when it rains too much and raises the puddles higher as it rains.
The flood was most likely caused by it rained to much what raised the water level higher and higher as it kept raining.
The devastation would be shocking with people homeless, families probable have had family die and have being taking away from friends and family.
    Short story:
If I was living in these areas I would feel astonished on what had happened when the massive flood accord. I would feel scared because I haven’t being near a flood or in one so I don’t know what it is like to be in one. I would be running for my whole life because I think it would be hard to get out of a flood because you don’t know where things are in the dirty water so you would have to count on your sense of touch. I would be crying because of how scared I would be and because everything I know so well is now all lost, broken or in very bad use.
