  1. People in villages would recover from this terrible disaster by getting other cultures and countries to raise money and donate to help fix all of the shops, stores and businesses. The businesses could have recovered by building new shops in different areas in the world, and that way the business would get the same amount of money, and with that money they could help raise money for the tsunami. They could help recover the village by getting people from other countries to help and volunteer to do jobs, such as teachers, police, firemen E.C.T…
Back then we couldn’t help save lives as often as we do now because we didn’t have as much technology back then. Today we could save lives more from all of this technology we have got now. So I suggest to help for this tsunami, we could’ve planned our electronics more. Like just say someone’s in trouble, back then if we planned more technology we could’ve used mobile phones so we could carry them around everywhere. We could’ve had more earthquake detectors to save people’s lives, because if we know what’s coming, then we know what to plan for in the future. If we had cars that we have today, then we would have a faster engine, like V8 engines. But for back then, they could’ve used smoke signal, a siren running through the town, and an earthquake detector.
The tsunami that happened in that video was absolutely horrifying. The wave was massive, and it was huge enough to wipe out a whole country on its own. It came from the sea after a gigantic earthquake struck Indonesia and countries around it. Then all of a sudden, within ten minutes, a massive twenty metre tsunami came out. The earthquake caused enough damage itself. The destruction that the tsunami caused was huge. The tsunami destroyed everything that was in its way. The town was left completely ruined and had debris going everywhere. This happened over 14 countries and 2 continents. That caused a lot of damage. That is why I think that other people from other countries should help (which they did).

  2. The Destructive Tsunami
    – How would people and villages recover from this disaster?
If I still survived in the horrifying tsunami the only way I would recover is to help others that were in the same situation and go back to my own safe country.
    – What could have been done to save lives prior to this tsunami happening?
They should have gotten disaster detectors to prevent the deaths of innocent lives and they would have saved money by protecting people instead of harming them.
    – In a paragraph describe the tsunami and its destruction?
The Tsunami was huge and vicious it wiped out homes and destroyed building and killed lives.

  3. People in the village’s would recover hurt with scratches broken bones and some killed and people from other country hopefully can raise money for the hurt people who have got hurt in the tsunami really BAD.
I hope that the alarm went off and let everybody know that an earthquake or a tsunami is coming.
And when I saw that guy just standing there I was like what is wrong with that man is he a crazy person or what?!! Who knows?
A helicopter could have been called and that could have saved them or getting on a strong house or a shed or something that is strong as. They could get in there car and drive like crazy homer all the way out of the town or village.

The tsunami is like a wall full of rushing water coming at all of the village’s no one knows what is going on until they saw a guy standing on the beach and started to walk at the tsunami is he blind or something they found out it was a tsunami when they saw it grow bigger and bigger. It took the guy that was standing on the beach. And the alarm went off and the people knew that it was a tsunami heeding right for them it was as loud as 6 or 7 trees crashing down onto each other but the people screamed louder than they’d ever yelled before. It would have scared the hell out of people and animals.

  4. 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami
They would need people to be come and help them rebuild or maybe helping them with financial. They may have needed more tourists to help them get more money. They would of needed medical assistance to help people from dying from an injury they may have gotten.
They didn’t have much warning systems to help them know if a tsunami may happen at any time. They could have better communication so then the people would know more quickly.
The tsunami was more powerful than a pride of lions. I was as terrified as the tsunami got closer I didn’t know what to do. All I could hear was people screaming in terror. The tsunami was as fast as the fastest person in the world. I found people that were just standing there watching the water rise and become a large wave because they could have died or even got really badly injured. The tsunami swept away everything in its path. People ran as fast as they could to get away for the tsunami.

  5. -How would people and villages recover from this disaster?
The people that live in these areas need to get help from first aid centres across the world, they need money without money they won’t be able to re-build, and they might need to rely on technology from other countries so they now when the disaster or any disaster is going to happen again.

-What could have been done to save lives prior to this tsunami happening?
They could have had warning systems so they could have sirens sounding so people know the warning when a tsunami is coming so they can evacuate from the place that the tsunami is coming from. People need technology so you could measure how far the tsunami or disaster if from where you are.

-In a paragraph describe the tsunami and its destruction?
People could have had something to communicate with if people didn’t have technology now then people and houses could easily be a huge wreck. These people that still don’t have technology is really unlucky and would be very sad because they can’t communicate with people or watching the news to know if there is something that could cause an Earthquake or any other natural disaster. The tsunami looked very scary because many people hadn’t seen a tsunami and was wondering what was happening, they were just standing there watching the waves and by the time they figured out what it was they had no time to run. The tsunami ruined the town because of the huge waves pushing through all of the buildings.

  6. -How would people and villages recover from the disaster?
People can recover from the disaster if they get help from other places to help them rebuild the hotels to get people to go to the place again. They might need to rely on other countries to help them get first aid to help the injured people. They could rely on some people to help them with technology to help them with warning systems for the tsunamis.

-What could have been done to save people’s lives prior to this tsunami happening?
The people could have put in warning systems with sirens so then they get a warning when a tsunami is coming so the people can evacuate from the place the tsunami is heading towards. They could of gotten a type of technology that could measure how far a tsunami is and how long it is going to be to take the tsunami to hit the place so people can be evacuated as fast as possible. If the people have installed something to help them with any disaster problems then no one would get hurt and they would be able to let people know if something is coming that is really dangerous so the visitors can get out of the place really safe.

-In a paragraph describe the tsunami and destruction.
The tsunami looked really scary and the men on the beach were just staring at the tsunami while it was getting really close to them until it crashed on top of them. The people that were videoing the tsunami were confused on what it was until they got a better view of it then they started running in fear. The people on the beach got swept away and the tsunami can really close to the hotels and started to break down power lines, pull people from hotels and some people can die and some people just get dangerously hurt.

  7. 1. The people in the tsunami are would have to clean up and start to rebuild.
    2. There could have been more signals could have been given off warn people in time.
    3. The tsunami built up out at sea and got bigger as it came to land. It destroyed everything in it’s path.
    4.

  8. How would people and villages recover from this disaster?
I would get some money in the bank and then I would get some more money from different and then I would hire some people with machine and then I would get some more money and then I would do the same to everything else!
    – What could have been done to save lives prior to this tsunami happening?
There could have been some helicopters in the air at the time because there was some sirens at the time and they could have been rescued or they just wanted to have a swim but it didn’t work because they died from the big massive wave!
    – In a paragraph describe the tsunami and its destruction.
The tsunami was a 50 meter wave In the air and then it just come crushing down everywhere and the damage would be everywhere you would look and then there would be mashed up things everywhere and then mashed up things in the ocean and then if there was glass in some of the building’s there could be glass in the ocean.

  9. How would people and villages recover from this disaster? People and villages would recover from this type of devastating disaster if other people from different countries and places aided Thailand to rebuild what has been massacred by this massive tsunami they would be able to recover if they had money as well because it takes money to pay the builders to rebuild the structures again. They would also need medical supplies to treat people that are ill by things like water diseases or they’ve been harmed.
What could have been done to save lives prior to this tsunami happening? Thailand could’ve had warning systems to siren out that a tsunami or a type of natural disaster was going to happen at that time. If Thailand had emergency services then it could’ve saved thousands of residents that live around that part of the area from dying to surviving. People could’ve survived if they didn’t live along the beach coast line so the buildings wouldn’t get easily flooded or demolished.
Describe the tsunami and its destruction. The tsunamis destruction was like massive liquids of lava massacring and demolishing anything that gets into the direction it’s going into. How would you feel if you went onto a perfect holiday trip and the next day a tsunami was coming at you?

  11. – How would people and villages recover from this disaster?
People could try to get money off other countries to help them try to recover from the powerful tsunami in Thailand. They could also try to get more money for working or work longer hours, if they are getting paid on how many hours that they work so they could recover for their family and house.

    – What could have been done to save lives prior to this tsunami happening?
There could have being warning signs on the news or from other countries so that they could be more prepared for the tsunami so less people would have got separated from family and less people would die instead of the amount as there was. People could get to higher ground so the waves wouldn’t be able to get to them so the only way you will get separated from people if they weren’t paying attention to what their parent was telling them and they would only die if they didn’t get to that place fast enough.

    – In a paragraph describe the tsunami and its destruction.
The giant killer tsunami roared though a city in Thailand destroying everything in its path until it can’t go any further and just stops and then goes back then comes again trying to get further and further into the city. The roar of the giant tsunami shocked you when you heard the roar of the lion.
