– What unit of measurement will we use?

– Measure the perimeter of the school.

– What is the perimeter of the school in metres? Convert this to kilometres.

1 week: 4.370km
1 year: 174.800

The amount of metres that we run for the school run a day is 874 metres, which also means 0.874 kilometres. In a week we run 4,370 metres, or 4.370 kilometres. If we ran for the school run every school day, (200 days) then we would run 174,800 metres, but in kilometres, it’s 174.800 kilometres.

One year can take us 174,800kilometre, and one week can take us 4,370m.
