Explain what you believe India would be like from looking at the pictures. The streets would be very corded with people on the street that are pore there food has a lot of spices and worm colours like red and yellow

What is different between Australia and India? There food is different because they use a lot of spices. There slums covers 2/5 of the city. And they have different animals to us and there clothing is different.

What are some similarities between Australia and India? They both love cricket, they have beautiful city’s they have deceit places. They have wonderful beaches

Make sure you explain your answers in detail. Use evidence to support your opinions. I think it would be bad to live in India because they have a lot of people covering the the towns/city becaues there’s alot of people in the picture on the street and I don’t like there food because they have a lot of spices because I don’t really like spicy food.

  2. INDIA
I believe India would be like really dangerous because so people when the catch public transport they may fall out because they don’t have any doors and they could also fall because the pele that are sitting on the top could fall off the top of the train.

Differences between Australia and Indian is that Indian have slums (slums are House that are really bad and they live in it if they are are really poor and they have a river near it so they can wash their self and clean their clothes they also drink out of that water) and Australia don’t have slums.

The similarities between Australia and India are that our cite are really busy and they have tall buildings. Also that India and Australia have a lot of public transport which makes them have a lot of traffic jams we do.

  3. India has a mixture of being a nice place, and being a bad place. The reason why I think it looks nice is because it has some fantastic buildings, and beaches with clear blue water, and sunny skies. But I also say that it’s bad because some people live in slums, which are places that have wrecked houses, no cars, a river to keep them clean and that river also gives them water… Plus it seems a bit poor because people piled up on the train. So if I were to live there I would try my very best to try and live in the city because if I lived in the slums, I wouldn’t know what to do to keep up surviving. But if I lived in the city, it would be easier to know where I’m going and what I’m doing.
The differences in between Australia and India is that Australia doesn’t have that many houses/slums all squished together but India has to find their way out from all of their slums. The second thing is that I don’t think we have any slums at all. India has a lot of traffic jams on the road because they don’t have many lines set out on the road, but in Australia, we have ours all set up so that there’s hardly any traffic jams. India has some old and ancient buildings but we have modern day buildings. India has heaps of sunny, smooth and relaxing beaches but Australia has crowded beaches because it’s sunny a lot over here.
The similarities between India and Australia is that Australia is sunny a lot and as I saw, India was also very sunny, probably because its summer over there. India has nice sea on their beaches and our water also looks the same. Some of the roads in India had lines to set out the road, and we do to because they needed to make it easier to drive. They have cars and so do we because they need transportation or it’ll be hard to go to places such as shops or houses instead of walking. They have dry deserts and like us because there needs to be a place for the camels to lie because camels are very popular over there. They have trains and Australia does to (except we don’t have them as crowded) because they might need to travel to a different state.

If I was in someone’s shoes I would not like it at all because I would hate being all of those traffic jams and no one likes being in traffic jams. I wouldn’t want to live there because it looks like the houses there are made out of card board and it was going to cal-apse when it rains again.
What is different between Australia and India?
1 They have trains where people are hanging on the doors and they have people on the roof of the trains.
2 In India they mostly eat curry but in Australia we don’t eat curry that often.3 They have slums instead of regular houses.
What are some similarities between Australia and India?
1 We both have cricket as a well played tradition.2 We both have amazing
cities. 3 We also have dry deserts

  5. I think living in India would be hard because you have to deal with all disasters that you have to put up with. Living in the city in India would be pretty good because you would earn money pretty easy and have a good house because it is in the city, but the worst thing would be if you live close to the cricket field I would be unhappy because of all the sound of the crowd cheering very loudly. If you don’t have a car you would have to ride or walk what would be a pain. If you live in the city it would be harder to not get bored because you would know more people because cities have more people living in them than how much towns have, but it would be easier to get bored in towns because cities have much people living in them.

The difference between Australia and India:
India’s favorite sport is cricket and Australia’s is AFL (Australian football league). Australia is surrounded by water but India is surrounded by both land and sea. Australia is more multicultural then India is. Australia has at least one famous landmark and India I don’t think has any. Australia has a sport that no other country in the whole in tyre world that plays that sport.

Things that are the same between Australia and India:
Australia and India both play sports. People go a little bit crazy over the main sport that the countries play example in Australia people go crazy over football and in India it looks like people go crazy over cricket.

  6. Australia and India

Explain what you believe India would be like by looking at the pictures.
I think it would be very scary to be living in India because they have lots of floods and some of their transport can be very dangerous at times because they sit on the top of their cars or trains that they have.

What is the difference between Australia and India?
The differences between Australia and India are that they sit on the top of their trains and cars and we sit inside our trains and cars. The differences between Australia and India are that they have the same animals as us but the animals look way different, such as there cows look like a goat.

What are some similarities between Australia and India?
Australia and India have many similarities between each other, such as: they have the same road work/ traffic, the same wetlands, mostly the same native animals, they have cities that are related to our cities and the have famous building/ statues that are famous, and some of the ones we have here in Australia are mostly statues like the Eiffel tower in France/Paris, and our buildings are the Opera-house and many others.

  7. Australian and Indian differences and similarities.

Explain what you believe India would be like from looking at the pictures.
I think that most of India would be really great to visit someday because most of the places are exactly like Australia and the places seem to be really great places from what I have heard and seen.
I think that India would be an amazing place to be because the pictures that I have seen looks really amazing and the place from the pictures looks like it is a little bit like Australia but with just different food and tourist attractions.

What is the difference between Australia and India?
I think that the difference between India and Australia is that in India there are lots of slums that have floods or rivers and homes that look like they have been damaged in a storm before. The slums were all smashed together and they were leaning on the side.
The difference between Australia and India is that Australia isn’t connected to any other countries unlike India being connected with china, Pakistan and other countries.

What are the similarities between Australia and India?
The things that are similar are that Australia has really nice beaches and ocean vies and other then the slums in India, India also has beautiful beach and an amazing view of the ocean.
Australia and India both have really huge city views that take up lots of space in India even though it is close to the humungous slums. Australia and India both have desert sides that are hot and the only thing you can see are yellow and orange sand with the hot sun shining down at the desert.

  8. I think that living in India would be hard for some people because the place is remote and most people are poor while the people with money are doing there things and the people that are poor are drinking rotten water and having almost no food for them and there family and almost dead from having bad water, or no food and going to die from not having anything at all. The other people look happy working and having things to do and I think that there should be more jobs.

I think that India is so different because we have football and they don’t have football and our cows are different to there cows because all there cows have horns and some of ours don’t have horns and some do have horns.

The cricket is the same because we have a lot of people go to the cricket and some of the animals there got we have them in zoos and one of there animals in the wild.

  9. Explain what you believe India would be like from looking at the pictures: I think India is a country of extremely different classed people. There are really rich people, very poor people, extremely religious people and many more. India looks very different from different views but some things are the same in most of the different places and are a part of different life styles. For example eating rice and curries are extremely popular in almost everywhere that can afford it, where as cars are mainly in the rich parts of India in the bright city with the big buildings. They have very religious and ancient views to life. They have many ancient buildings, temples and even landscapes! It looks like a very dry country and look like they always make the most of everything.

What is different between Australia and India? Some parts are very alike but some parts are completely different. I think Australia is much less populated and Australians usually eat different foods. In India it looks like they always make the most out of everything, where as in Australia we don’t really cherish the little things. The houses are different to Australia and I think in India most people don’t really care about safety!

What are some similarities between Australia and India? I think some similarities between Australia and India are that we share very common deserts and in some parts big modern cities. Australians and Indians both share a huge passion for cricket, and although they’re different species we both have native animals!

  10. India would be extremely hot and very crowded. There is lots of rich people, but also lots of poor people. It would be very dry and you would need to drink lots of water and keep hydrated.

Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere and India is in the Northern Hemisphere.
India’s population is over 1.2 Billion people.
As for Australia it’s population is 23.2 Million.
Australia is more than twice as big as India, but India’s population is about 60 times the amount of Australia.

Australia and India both share a strong passion for cricket and other sports.
Australia and India both love to eat rice.
Australia and India both love to drink tea.

  11. India looks like a very busy and there are a lot of poor, rich and middle class people. India is a place that have hot deserts, sunny beaches and a lot of floods. India is a place where there are not many transports and millions of people have to sit on top of trains, they have to hold on to doors and open windows on the out side of the trains.

The difference between Australia and India is that India has slums (slums are houses that are made out of rubbish and the people that live in them are poor and have no money) and Australia has cheap houses that a lot of people live in and in Australia people have more money then India and India is connected to different countries so you can step in India and a different place at the same time.

  12. Indian culture
Indian culture is totally different to ours and then like they don’t have enough money to like bye a car and then they would like just jump onto a car because it will like always to hot in the Indian part.Has anyone fell of the train before?

What is different between Australia and India?
The difference between India and Australia s the food, culture, clothes, transport, houses, buildings.

What are some similarities between Australia and India?
That we have some of the same transport and we have cars and they do too and they have bikes and we do too and we have trains and is really hot and it’s really hot over here in Australia

  13. This really helps our grade on how indian people live and what thier animals and cities look like and we should write to them or they could come down and see use or we could go up there one day. Thank you Mr. Andrew for posting all of these awesome and fantastic pictures of India.

  14. I think the cities in both India and Australia are the same because to me it looks like cities are as busy as the cities are in Australia. It looks like men work at food stores while the women gather the food. Is Mr Andrews class trying to learn about India? if so then having an Indian buddy grade would help them learn more about the Indian culture. Why was there a group of Indian people on a car? My guess is that the’re having a celebration of some kind because whenever I`ve seen or done it was because of a celebration.
