  1. I wonder how they are going to clear the fire with just little hose and a big fire because there’s one at the back theirs two. They might feel tired because it would take hours and they need to go home and have a rest. They might feel scared because they might get caught in the fire because there can be a chance of the fire coming closer and getting them you don’t know. 
I think it could course a lot of damage and ruin family and friends relationship. It could burn people.

  2. I would feel like I needed to save those people who are in the bush fire because they are
counting on me. I would also feel worried that it’s going to get stronger and windier.
I would feel like a hero if the bush fire was put out with my help.

I think the fire would be a bad thing for the environment because it will be looking burnt and everything will be black for
A while until everything will grow back. But it could also be a good thing because
It will grow back better than it did before the fire even started.

I think it would sound really windy like when only one person puts down their window.
All you could hear is the wind and the trees.

Grass and building are getting burnt around you.
I think one of the ways it could have started somebody lit it.
Also the hot day where the sun is so bright and hot may have caused it.
It could burn the leaves. Also if someone leaves glass everywhere and the sun is bright it could
reflect off the glass and burn leaves .

  3. I think it would be good because when I save the people they pay me money and if they don’t give me money I would not save them and I would proud because I saved someone s life or house from the fire. If I was close to the fire I would feel hot because it’s close to me.
The damage that it could do is burn down the trees and kill animals and their homes. If it went through a town it could burn houses down as well as shops. After the fire all the grass and trees will be black.
I can hear the fire cracking when it goes through the dry grass. I can also hear the wind which is as loud as a V8 engine. I can hear the loud sirens of a fire engine.

  4. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire.
I would feel petrified and at the same time I would feel like a hero. It would be sweltering hot and you would have to wear a mask or something to protect your face so you don’t breath in the smoke. You would be sweating like crazzzzzy and you would be squirting like crazzzzzzzzy with the water on full to try and control the stinking hot blaze so you can save the town from complete disaster!!!!!!!!!!

What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment? Discuss.
It would damage the environment veeeeery badly! For example: the trees would go completely black, the ground would be black, the road would go sticky and trap cars on the road, the ground would be littered with disintegrated black leaves etc.

Describe the noise you can hear.
I would hear the crackling of the fire, the sizzling of the grass, the bee do bee do bee do bee do bee do of the fire engines, the fire fighters yelling over the noise of the fire engines and the fire and the grass sizzling.
This is by Jordan the amazing post author.

  5. I would feel horrified because I won’t know what is going to happen to me. I would feel worried because some people might not survive. I would feel hot because how close I am to the fire. I would feel frightened because the fire was so close to me
How could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment?
A bushfire can barn the trees down. It could barn the flower and the grass.it could destroy animal’s habitat. They could kill your pet’s animals.
Describe the noise you can hear
I could hear a heave wind. I could hear the fire because how close it was.

  6. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter saving the community from an approaching bushfire.

If I were a firefighter fighting those fires I would feel like a hero and completely terrified at the same time. I would feel like a hero because I am getting rid of the fires and saving others’ lives. I would also feel like a hero because I’m not sticking up for myself and saving my own life, I’m sticking up for others and saving their lives. I would be terrified because I am standing in front of a fire and it is IMMENSE!!! I would also be terrified because what if I died… That would be horrible, my family and friends will, or should be, devastated if I died! I wouldn’t care if I got paid or not, as long as I’m helping the Society.

What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment? Discuss.
The IMMENSE bushfire could cause a lot of damage to the trees, land/grass, animals’ habitats and animals themselves. It could damage the trees from the fire, the fire could burn all the leaves of the tree and all the bark on it, and then it would be known as to us and the animals, I think, a DEAD tree. It could damage the land or the grass by the same method as the trees… by burning all the grass. That means all the cattle, horse and other wild or tamed animals won’t have anything to munch on. It could damage the animals’ habitats by putting all the fires smoke inside; for example, a wombat’s hole and it could be trapped in there. It could also damage their habitats is by burning all their building materials. The fire can also do damage to the animals, and we need them, by either smoking them out of their habitats and starving to death slowly or by inhaling all the smoke and causing their lungs to fail on them. The fire could also damage the animals from all the ashes landing in their drinking water and eventually dyeing. SO SAD!

Describe the noise you can hear
If I were that firefighter, which I’m imagining now, I can hear the incredibly large amounts of irritating wind blowing into my microphone hanging of my ear. I can hear my fellow firefighters talking or planning about what they will or can do about the boiling hot fire. The fire crackling annoyingly in my ears hoping it will stop…OR I QUIT. I can hear helicopters flying past making nearly as much noise as the wind is making simultaneously in my ears. ARRRRRR… SO ANNOYING! I can hear the fellow fire engines sirens ringing non stop in the distance slowly coming towards us so they can help us save the land, animals, others lives and our own lives from a fire that can kill us all.
    Thank you for listening

  7. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bush fire- It would be scary because you have to be around fires and you have to go inside the house and save people when the fire is still going. It would be freaky because you don’t know how far the fire going to spread. Or if you go and save them you will be stuck in the fire and there is no way to get out. I would also feel happy to save peoples life and help them save the family and home and you can be a hero to their family. I would fill proud of helping the community and helping others. It would be a really hard job because a fire does take a long time to go out and it would be hard going in a house with fire and trying to save people because they might be stuck in the middle of a fire. It would be DANGEROUS because how close you are up to the fire. It would be frighten because when you are up that close to a fire you feel how hot it is and you’re like how can people be in this.

What could a bush fire do surrounding the environment ?- It could damage our houses and lots of our trees and even our family, friends and pets. Sometimes it can hurt and kill people. It can wreak the environment from burning our nice lands the nice beautiful green grass the flowers even the trees. The more trees go down the less oxygen we get. The smoke from the bush fires can help our grasslands because the smoke goes down to the ground burns it all and then it creates better and stronger so it can last longer. It’s not good because we make stuff out of trees so we cannot use the trees that have been burnt down because they will be ash and black and burnt. It bad for the environment because on farms it will take a while to get all the animals and if there out the grass can burn and they will not be able to eat grass for a while. It is good because if you have animals on a farm and the grass burns down the grass will come out better and Healthy.

Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire.
if I were the fireman I would try my best to put out the crazy fire I would try to help anyone that was hurt or injured, I would be thinking about the dangers of the fire and the dangers it might to have to the residents in the little town I would feel frightened in case the fire got to me, disappointed if you couldn’t catch the arsonist, proud when I put the fire out, curious to know why the arsonist started the fire in the first place and worried about my friends and family that live in the surrounding streets.

What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment? Discuss.
A bushfire would burn/Do damage to the trees, grass, the road and the animals which would need a lot of money to repair/grow the new grass shops trees or maybe even some schools; it would leave people angry at the arsonist that started the fires. Think about the animals that would have died and it would all be because of the stupid arsonist that started the fire that killed the poor animals you would be sweeting and hot because of the boiling fire, did you know that a fire can reach the temperature of 500*? Well it can and there could be people and animals stuck and burning and also it could also kill you because it would burn the layer of your skin, burn the inside of your skin and you could die. The crazy fire could have kept of burning and could kill more people other than yourself like your friends and family, that would have died because of the fire.

Describe the noise you can hear.
I can hear the fire crackling and the wind running, I can hear the fireman yelling commands to the other fireman, the Out of control fire burning, I can hear the wind clashing with the fire and the fire getting bigger, I can hear the fire fighters reeling the hose out and squirting the water at the extended fire, and the ear-acing sirens of the fire truck going and everybody hurrying to stop the fire so that it can’t keep extending, there would be animals and people yelling that are stuck in the fire, it would be so disappointing if you heard them screaming.

  9. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire.
If I was a firefighter getting rid of those fires I would feel scared and brave at the same time because if you were stuck in the fires you might die or if a teammate was in the fire I would have to save them in the fire at the same time but if there unconscious in the fire they might die there. It would also feel terrifying because I would be fighting fires
What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment? Discuss.
It would destroyed the environment and also help us at the same time because it creates rain and it burns down overgrown trees and grass. Create gases in the air and puts a lot of smoke in the air so it’s hard to breathe. It would destroy animal homes and maybe kill a lot of animals because they inhale smoke.
Describe the noise you can hear.
I would hear strong wind and water bombers in the sky; on the ground I would hear generators pumping water into the fire sirens cling in my ears cars driving away driving closer to the fire; water hitting the ground I can hear my own fear.

  10. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire.
I would be brave because I would save the land for the animals. I would be nervous because I would be near an extremely hot blazing fire. I would be rushing to get the hose to put out a fast fire moving in the environment.
What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment?
It could be there home because they have no home to live in so they have to live there home to find another place where there would be no fire and the animals would have no food to eat, drink and live. In a town a roosting fire burn everything like a shop, homes, cars and the food. People would be homeless with no food, water and clothing.

  11. If I were a fire fighter and I was surrounded by this fire, I would feel hot and proud. I would be proud because I might save someone or someone’s house. It would be a hard challenge and I would be very sweaty. The fire fighters need to be brave and tough.

  12. I would feel horrified of the dried full fire. My eyes would feel like they are burning to pieces.ioell the terrifying smoke rising from the ground and the trees. I hear the crackling trees burning to the ground. I feel like the devil is rising from the ground. I see the devastating trees crumbling before my eyes.

  13. -Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire.
I think it would be BOILING hot to be putting out an out of control Black Saturday bushfire. It would be hard to protect different parts of the town to save as many properties as possible especially when you have a RAGING, out of control bushfire coming your way.

-What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment?

A bushfire would burn anything that’s in its path. It could RIP down trees give wildlife bad burns that can kill them.
I had a connection to Black Saturday because on the news when Black Saturday finished it showed a female Koala. Its tree got destroyed her home and after the bushfire, it emerged over the burned log and needed medical assistance because she got badly burned. A fire fighter saw the injured koala and went over to help it. The koala needed a big drink of water luckily the fireman brought a bottle of water and gave the koala all the water in his bottle to drink. The fire fighter then thought he should take the injured koala to a vet, the vet told him that the Koala will survive and would have to stay at the Vetinairian for a few weeks. After a few weeks the Koala was well enough to be realised back into the wild.

What could a bushfire do to the surrounding environment? Discuss
A bushfire would burn the ground/ the trees/ houses/ and we could die because the older people can’t smell the bosh fire and when they hear the sirens go of it might be to light and they might of died. I have seen someone that has been pushed into a bushfire and her skin has gone all lumpy and some of his /her face. I personally think that this bosh fires should stop today because it is bad for the environment and old.

I could hear the wind out Side. I could hear the fire that is crackling I can hear the people toking.
people and when they don’t know what is going on they could die in the heat and this fires. And I think that if people are setting fires on purpose they should be dead!!! And think of all of these animals
that have died of one great big fire and to see those kids’ faces that have lost their nans in a fire.

  15. Explain what it would be like to be a fire fighter protecting the community from an approaching bushfire…
They will potbelly be scared because they have to fight fire which is hard to do and if I was in there shoes I would be scary
