Week 6 goals

This week we will again set our independent goals for reading, writing and active learning.

Remember your goals should be achievable and realistic. Your reading and writing goals must be aimed to improve your work and your active learner goal must improve the way you go about your work.

Before setting your goals, you need to think hard about what you will be working on for reading and writing. For example, think about what type of writing you’ll be doing and what type of reading responses and comprehension strategies you’ll be using.

You will need to be accountable for these goals.

    I think I could be a active Lerner if I be a lot more quiet and not get distracted when I am learning.

    Reading
    To use my connecting and all of the others when I need them.

    Writing
    To be able to write netter in my book when writing.

    1. I think I archived my active learner goal because no one has distracted me when I have been doing work.

      1. I think I finished my reading goal because I used all of the strategies I needed.

      2. I think I completed my reading goal because I have been writing neater in my book.

  2. My Writing Goal:
    My Writing Goal for this week is to complete a well-structured persuasive piece that will hook the reader in and persuade them.

    My Reading Goal:
    To be able to inferring and connecting to complete a detailed Open Minded Portrait on my book, ‘The Key to Rondo’, following all of the expectations.

    My Active Learner Goal:
    To always be independent while I am working so that I can create a good piece of work.

    Trying to get my work done at school

    Reading goal:
    Trying to get all my reading done and complete my sithisising wheel

    Writing goal:
    Try to get my writing done and put more writing in my writers gift folder

  4. 📝My writing goal is not to count every word by itself so I can get more done.📝

    📖My reading goal is to be able to put more evidence in my reading responses.📚

    My active learning goal is to be able to not get distracted by ignoring people talking to me.

    1. 📝I have achieved my writing goal by counting how many words are in the first three sentences and the average was 8 and how many sentences I had.✏️

      📚I don’t think I achieved my reading goal because I think I haven’t put enough evidence in my reading responses.📖

      I didn’t achieved my active learning goal because I got distracted a lot and that is how I you don’t get much work done.

  5. Writing goal: to get a really descriptive piece of writing what explains the settings and the feelings.

    Reading Goal: I want to read for around half an hour and get heaps of thinking done.

    Active learner: I want to get in the 4 minutes for the run next week

    Active learner goal; I would like to stay focused on my work and not waddle around because I didn’t achieve this last week.

    Writer goal; I would like to finish my infomation report on Matt Cowell and have it very well structured.

    Reader goal; I am going to do an SQ3R on coca-cola and have it checked by come one else before I publish

    1. I have achieved my active learner goal this week because I did not waddle around.
      I have started to publish my infomation report on Matt Cowell
      I have completed my SQ3R on coca-cola but I haven’t had it checked by an adult.

  7. My Goals

    My goal for reading is to be able to track my thinking about a characters and their feelings.
    Another goal for reading is to use my thinking and feelings about a character to make my response engaging.

    My goal for writing is to be able to structure an Information Report correctly and to publish the Information Report with persuasive devices and emotive words.

    To be able to concentrate on the person who’s talking and to make eye contact. Another active learner goal is to be able to participate in classroom discussions and discuss some ideas.

    1. I was able to achieve my first goal for reading. I achieved it by tracking my thinking and how they are feeling. I didn’t exactly achieve my other goal which was to be able to use my thinking and the feeling about the characters to complete an engaging response because I didn’t get enough thinking about the characters on sticky notes.

      I was able to achieve my writing goal which was to be able to structure an Information Report correctly and to publish the same Information Report while adding persuasive devices and emotive words to make it sound more engaging.

      For my active learner goal I was able to achieve it because I concentrated on the person who was talking and to make eye contact. I achieved my other goal which was to be able to participate in class/group discussions.

  8. Active Learning Goal:
    This weeks active learner goal for me is not to distract others or be distracted by others.

    Writing Goal:
    This weeks writing goal is to structure my information report correctly with extreme amounts of detail.

    Reading Goal:
    This week reading goal is to put lots of detail into my SQ3R and structure it correctly.

    1. Active Learner Goal-
      I think I achieved my active learner goal because I didn’t distract others and I did not get distracted by others.

      Writing Goal-
      I think I also achieved my writing goal because I structured my Lionel Messi information report correctly and included it with great detail.

      Reading Goal-
      I structured my SQ3R correctly and put lots of detail into it so I would think that I achieved it.

  9. My reading goal is to use the reading process.
    My writing goal is to be able to draft and publish my writing pice.
    My active learn goal is to not get distracted or distract others

    1. I achieved my reading goal because I done the reading goal and got tow responses done.
      I did not achieve my writing goal because I didn’t published my writing pice.
      I didn’t archive my active learn goal because I got distracted.

  10. For writing this week I will be working on a information report and for my information report I am gonna use adjective and synonyms.

    Reading
    For reading I am using synthesising wheel and I am gonna use sticky notes in during read after read and before reading.

    Active learner
    I am not going to get distracted and me not distracting other people and being independent.

    1. I did I achieve my goal because of the reading I did the synthesising wheel. For my writing I did achieve it because I finish my 100 word challenge. Because I distracted other people and I get distracted easy so I haven’t been listening that we’ll.

    My writing goal is to try to use more adjectives in my writing more

    Reading
    To try to infer the charters feeling and thinking using stick notes.

    Active learner
    Use teaches feedback to improve my work.

    1. I use the the adjective bright sunny day.
      I achieved my goal because I could infer the charters feelings.
      I use teachers feedback when they told me to re read it.

  12. I want to get done is to able to finish another information report, response of a synthesis wheel.

    I would like to a achieve an active learner by not distracting other people and work on my own

    1. I achieved my goals by doing my own work and not distracting other students.

      I didn’t get any of my work done like an information report or the response because I got distracted by other students in the classroom.

  13. My goal for this week is to be able to do the writing process correctly and use powerful langue.
    My goal this week for reading is to do a SQ3R and if I’m doing a different one I must remember to track my thinking.

    My active learner goal is to not get distracted.

    1. ✏️I have achieved my goal because I have used powerful langue and structured it properly.📚I have done it correctly because I was able to get more stuff down. If I didn’t do it correctly I would of got less thinking down.📚
      I have achieved my active learner goal because I have not got distracted.

  14. Writing: This week my writing goal is to try and use as much powerful language in my 100 word challenges as possible to make them more descriptive.

    Reading: My reading goal this week is to structure an SQ3R correctly and use the correct comprehension strategies.

    Active learner: This week I would like to try to stay on task in all sessions.

    1. I think I achieved my writing goal because I used lots of powerful language in my 100 WC.
      I also structured my SQ3R correctly and used the correct comprehension strategies.
      I think over all I did really well trying to stay on task on most sessions.

  15. Last week I was successful because I was tracking my thinking down on sticky notes. I was also writing down powerful words and key words. I wrote important parts of the text down to get a better understanding.

    This week I need to get a reading response down and try to make it better than last week. Also do the exact things I done last week but better.

  16. Active learner goal: I got distracted when I did the run and because I don’t run my hardest every week so what I do run that becomes my seed on the run.

    Reading goal: I read for around 30 minutes so I say I did do my goal because I didn’t get distracted by others.

    Writing goal: I think I did my goal because we did a 100WC and my 100WC was good with a lot of strong words

  17. I think that I active my goal by being a little bit inderpented in my reading.
    I think that I active my active learner goal because I tried to not get dissected by work and finish things of in my time.
    I think that in writing that I active by doing more drafts to put in my writing folder.
