On Friday we had the VSSEC Team visit the Senior Unit. They conducted a number of science activities throughout the day. One of the activities involved students looking at fossils and using microscopes to look at tiny organisms.
Explain what you learnt about fossils.
Explain what you learnt about fossils?
What I learnt about fossils is that they are rocks. So when I held the dinosaur poo I wouldn’t have got germs… I think! I also learnt that the shape of the fossil gets stuck under all of this rock and then water seaps through the cracks and then forms a solid rock which then we can look at. I also learnt that there are heaps of bugs in muddy water. Imagine all of the germs in the African people who don’t receive fresh water.
