SYNTHESISING FROM A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

Today we are going to use a newspaper article to synthesise information. The article is about the police chase in Victoria last week.

To begin we will need to write down what we think before reading and then as we read we add to our thinking. After reading we write down what we think about the topic with evidence. You will then turn your synthesising into a synthesising wheel.

We will also be adding a comment to this post… your comment will explain what you think was the most important part of the text. You will complete the comment after you have done your synthesising wheel.

I think the most important part of the text is… Why the man fled. The text said that the man fled because the police had a search warrant to search his house and he had stolen vehicles on his property. He ran and stole quite a few different cars probably because they were all battered up. There were 30 police cars and 2 police helicopters in pursuit.
