  1. Wildebeest πŸƒπŸ—
    – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
Wildebeest are migrating, a migrating wildebeest leaps into the low waters of the Mara River in Tanzania to the other wildebeest in the bottom of the shallow water.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
Wildebeest Migrate because it would be too cold for them to cope and they need heat and water, it is probably too cold for them where they were living and in Africa it is hot and cold all around the place and that’s where wildebeests are found so they need more heat?.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
I think the wildebeests are stupid for jumping into the river where the crocodiles are because everybody knows crocodiles eat things that are hot and are moving so that’s not very survivable if they’re just going to kill them selves and they adapt to to hot weather.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
Because they can’t run fast I mean like Thiong and Deng combined are probably faster then one wildebeest and that’s not good for the wildebeest because it a cheetah wanted to kill it it’s dead and people shouldn’t be faster than some animals because the animals have more home to run than Thiong and Deng. It’s also dangerous because of people might kill them for some beef or some bacon and I don’t want to be eating Wildebeest for dinner so maybe somebody can help these animals get to where they need to go and they won’t get killed.

  2. In your own words, describe what is happening in the image. There are wildebeest running straight down this mysterious whole, filled with dangerous, Furious crocodiles. I see a whole bunch of amazing wildebeests stampeding straight in this massive whole and they are all squashed up together. I see awesome wildebeest leap in the beautiful shallow water.

Explain why the wildebeest migrate. I think the wildebeest migrate because, they could be in a very hot place and they want to be cool so they go off as a excellent team and go find a much, amazing place to go, a place that they are comfortable. I think the fantastic wildebeest, move because they could be in a place where they have not got enough food or water so they will travel and travel to they find a magnificent home.

Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have. Some of the adaptations the wildebeest might have, there walk together as a group and protect one another and make sure all of them are safe. The adaptations that they might have is, they have to try to find a place that is safe and they need to walk near water and food, because they could starve or dehydrate.

Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest. They could go pass loads of shallow and deep rivers and there can be crocodiles, and the crocodiles will scoff them down in one mouth full. When they migrate it can be dangerous because they could jump into a massive river and they can drown.

  3. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
The migrating wildebeest are going into the low waters one by one. They all rush by as the cod air sways by me. The great big wildebeest stand great and tall as they surround the gushing water. I can see the wildebeest enjoying the cool water.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
Because the place that they where they only staid for a year so they migrate every year. I also think that they could of moved because of the place it could of be cold so they wanted to move to a more of a hotter wether so they could get warmer. The wildebeest only migrate for a reason not just because they want to.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
They have nice thick coat. They have hooves. They have a face. They have blood. They have boons.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
Because there could be a crocodile and the wildebeest could get killed when they are going through the water. When there is a animal all of the wildebeest could just go straight through them. They could of staid in the water and not of none that there was a dangerous animal in the water.

  4. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
One wildebeest is jumping in a great big humungous whole as part of migrating

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
Because in Africa it’s to cold in Africa so they have to go down in Africa were it is warm
    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
I think they jumped in the whole because it to cold over there and they might die so they have to keep moving on.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
Because we’re there jumping has crocodile or they can drown when they getting in there or when they jump they break there leg because when they jump they can jump on a rock and then they won’t survive to move on.

  5. In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
What’s happening in the image is that a wildebeest has jumped from the higher part of the photo, towards the low waters. It looks like a pretty high hight for a wildebeest but I’m surprised it made it. I think the low water would have broken a tiny bit of its fall.

    Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
I think wildebeest migrate because the seasons aren’t exactly perfect. I think this because most animals like birds and fish do these types of things. It could be too hot for the wildebeest or it could be too cold for them.

Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
Their horns help them defend themselves. Their dull teeth grind what they eat. Fur keeps them warm in cold weather. They have dark stripes to help hide them in the dark. Their long tails help by swatting the flies away. They have thin legs that might fool its predator so it can escape.

Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
I think the migration period is dangerous because all of the Nile crocodiles will be sitting on the banks, ready for the wildebeests to pass by. They would be sitting like a boring old tree in an empty field.

  6. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
There is a wildebeest jumping in to a whole that is homed to the giant Nile crocodile in Mara River in Tanzania.
    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
They migrate because the sleep in winter time then come out in the spring time and to stock up food for the winter when they migrate.
    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
They have warm cots of skin on them they can swim in water because they do that all the time to get to the other side.
    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
It is dangers because the walk thought water they could get eaten by crocodiles or brake there leg or drown in the water any thing really.

  7. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
In the image there are wildebeest trying to cross the deadly river were the Nile crocodile lives. One of the wildebeest are jumping into the Mara River in Tanzania. Most of the wildebeests are pushing and shoving each other trying to cross or going down stream. I think that the are in a massive group because the are unstoppable by tramping on other animals.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
I think that the wildebeest are migrating because they might want different grass or the maybe want to avoid the dry season to get to the nice, juice green grass. I think that they want to migrate so they can combined and travel so they die in the dry season.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
The wildebeests migrating, that means that they can travel to different places.
They have horns so the can defend them selfs from prey or meat eating machines.
They have strong legs so the can stand on thing.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeests
It is dangers for the wildebeests migrating because they might get eaten by a Nile crocodile or they could drown or they could brake a leg so the Nile crocodile can easily eat them or on the other side there could be loins or other thing.

  8. πŸƒπŸ·πŸƒ- In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
I the image it looks like some wildebeest are jumping into a low water place to get some water and I think there are wildebeest jumping straight in a massive whole. There are crocodiles in the picture hiding. I see loads of wildebeest in shallow water.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
I think they migrate because people might of burnt down their place because new fresh new grass can grow. They might migrate because there might animals like tigers that would want to eat them or I think it’s because the place that they are in is either too hot or too far away from an river bank.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
The adaptation that they have to help them survive is properly their speed so they could have a very good. Chance of getting way. Their other adaptation is that they are big so it would take time for an animal to try and kill them

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
I think their migration is dangerous because if they like jump down a hole their could be a lion or a crocodile waiting for them I there. They can go down in a river and they can drown or they can get to wet and cold and they can freeze from how cold and wet they are. Their adaptation is also dangerous because when they jump down they could kill them selves because they are already down there and the other wildebeest horns can kill them

  9. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ ;)- In your own words, describe what is happening in the image. I see amazing wildebeest running down a massive hole. I see animals in the shallow water, I see loads of wildebeest animals all squashed up in a small placeThey looks like a wildebeest is going to jump into a big hole. There might be crocodile in the water. I see loads of wildebeest in the shallow water. – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
I think they might need to find water because the place they were didn’t have water so they migrate. They will migrate because some palaces could be to cold and hot for them and it will be to much, they will migrate because they can be there enemy’s there and crocodiles will eat them.
    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
They need to stay together to survive, they stay together because they need to be safe, they go together.
    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
I think that the wildebeest migration is dangerous because they can fall in to a hole and die, they can drown, they can get to hot to cold.

  10. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
Animals are fooling in the water because their trying to migrate and the vishes Nile crocodile is going to Attack them with them noticing it’s their.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
So they can find a better place to stay that has more food and more places to hide for their predators. So they don’t stay in that one place for a long time so they can find a good place to call habitat.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
They have horns so they can pretce them selfs them selfs

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.
Because as their migrating their could find some think that could kill them or their baby I think it’s bad because like in the picture their in the dangers water and their a crocodile and if some animal like go in the river or somewhere else where they can get heat they could die.

  11. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image. I can see a wildebeest jumping from a night in to shallow water dawn bellow. The wildebeest is properly petrified because it would look like the wildebeest is looking of a skyscraper while all of the other wildebeest are just standing at the bottom of the water not even watching the incident that is happening behind the back. When the wildebeest jumped all the wildebeest behind that one looked down on the one that is sliding down the side of the wall.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate. I think they migrate because of there heavyweight fur coats. That is why I think they were in the water to cool down. The wildebeest at the top weren’t getting much water so that is why one by one was jumping of ghetto top of the water bit and jumping down to the bottom because there is a little bit higher in the water at the bottom.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have. I think they might have an adaption were they can get to hot and have to get to water or they over heat and can die because of the extremely hot climate. That is why in the pitcher they are all trying to get to the highest water they can get to. If I was them I would be doing he exact same thing.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest. Because if hey don’t get to a cool place in time they could over heat and die.

  12. In the image the wildebeests are jumping into the river to get to the other side of the river. Because they are go to find another home to live in.
I think the wildebeests migrate to get fresh green grass and find water to have they also move to other places to live in.
Some of the adoptions are there horns.

  13. Look & Learn > Leap and Faith

    – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.
I think it’s that time of year where they all gather all together and migrate at the Mara River in Tanzania and they all leap into this hole type.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
I think the wildebeest migrate because where they are is so hot for them so they need to cool down.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
Their hooves might help them not get hurt them by stepping on hard rocks. Their horns to help protected them from predators.

  14. – In your own words, describe what is happening in the image.

The wildebeest are leaping in the low dark water of the Mara River in Tanzania. The wildebeest are in a massive huge herd of the wildebeest. In the sky it’s dark black so we can’t see what the wildebeest is going to do in the low water river. The wildebeest hones look like they trying to get though by using there hones to move around maybe.

    – Explain why the wildebeest migrate.
The wildebeest as to move around to be life and to live. The behaviour looks ok because when they move to another place to try and get more food to feed there family. The behaviour for leaping into the low water river to try and take a drink with there herds of family.

    – Describe some adaptations that the wildebeest might have.
The wildebeest need there habitat to life and stay with there herd. There rear need to keel the wildebeest warm. There hones keep them per-tacked if there is a fight with other animals what come along.

    – Explain why the migration period is dangerous for the wildebeest.

If the wildebeest goes in the river you don’t know what is in there but there is a crocodile in the river so the wildebeest doesn’t know that there is a crocodile down in the low rivers.
