  1. 1: Sustainability could be defined as an ability or capacity of something to be maintained or to sustain itself. It’s about taking what we need to live now, without jeopardising the potential for people in the future to meet their needs. If an activity is said to be sustainable, it should be able to continue forever. Sustainability is important because all the choices we pursue and all the actions that we make today will affect everything in the future. We need to make sound decisions at present in order to avoid limiting the choices of generations to come.

2: My house has two water tanks that connect to the taps in my house hold. I don’t leave the tap running when using water. Hang dry, wash in cold water, turn off the lights and change the lights.

3: Use rechargeable batteries, take shorter showers, recycle newspapers, use both sides of paper, recycle glass, don’t rinse put in the dishwasher.

  2. 1. Explain what does the term sustainability mean and why it is important- It means something will stay there forever and it will never leave, and if people want to make other stuff in it they can’t they have to do it somewhere, or in side and not wreak the place. It is important so people have something to remember and so, people can tell there friends and family and then it will be a great tourism attraction.
