Science: A Chemical Reaction

3/4A were able to make a chemical reaction by using vinegar and bi-carb soda. We put the bi-carb soda into a balloon and put the balloon over the top of a bottle with some vinegar inside it. When the vinegar and bi-carb soda mixed it caused a chemical reaction, which released carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide was then able to inflate the balloon.

The students also used this session to complete their first science report of the year.
